About Shomaisou Shiba Inu
Heritage, Preservation, and Purpose
Shomaisou Shiba Inu is a heritage and preservation breeding program based in Brecksville, Ohio. We focus on purposefully bred purebred Shiba Inu, with careful attention to health, structure, temperament, and breed type.
Our work extends beyond each litter. We follow puppy development, evaluate individual dogs, and make thoughtful decisions about the homes where they are most likely to thrive. Our website brings together dog profiles, litter announcements, puppy updates, and information for families getting to know our program.
Finding the Right Home
Every puppy and every household is different. We consider temperament, structure, health, household fit, and long-term suitability when making placement decisions. Final matches follow puppy development and evaluation, generally between six and eight weeks of age.
Our application helps us understand your home, experience, goals, and care plans. Approval does not reserve a puppy or a place in a queue, and we do not take deposits. Some litters are co-owned, co-bred, or raised with trusted co-breeders in Ohio, Michigan, or West Virginia. Follow our updates and contact us to learn more; visits are by appointment.
